Interview with Donna Nevel

Donna Nevel, a community psychologist and educator, is a coordinator of PARCEO, a participatory action research center. She is an organizer for justice in Palestine; against Islamophobia and anti-Arab racism, and for justice in public education, and writes and lectures widely on these issues. Most recently, she has been a founding member of Jews say No!, the Network Against Islamophobia; and the Facing the Nakba Project, and is on the board of Jewish Voice for Peace and Parent Leadership Project and the advisory board of the Bloomingdale Family HeadStart Program. Donna has authored, co-authored and contributed to several publications including “Islamophobia and Israel” (2014), “Empowering Women through Literacy: Views from Experience” (2009) and “Jewish Women’s Call for Peace: A Handbook for Jewish Women on the Israeli/Palestine Conflict” (1990). Donna’s articles have been published in AlterNet, Mondoweiss and The Guardian and has an education blog at The Huffington Post.
